About Us

Musicians for Apes reaches out to other musicians, fans and friends to learn more and expand minds about our critically endangered and closest relatives the great apes, chimpanzees, bonobos, orangutans and gorillas, and of their exploitation and cruelty in entertainment and as pets, in research laboratories and of their decreasing lives and habitats in the wild.  
 

Our Mission 

To improve great ape welfare and conservation, supporting sanctuaries around the globe committed to life time care of great apes rescued and retired into sanctuary from the entertainment industry, research laboratories, the pet trade and habitat loss.
