Like every one of us, Great Apes are sentient beings that feel pain, loneliness and fear. They experience everything we can physically and emotionally. Most people do not know they laugh and play, cry, and grieve. That they need the companionship and support from each other as friends and families as humans need just the same.

With clear choices and consciences, we must address what is happening to our closest living relatives. Few people know these Apes are forced to act and perform unnaturally as entertainers, forced in to research, and forced out of their habitats. We cannot accept this any longer. Instead, we need to accept them simply for who they are, Great Apes, chimpanzees, orangutans and gorillas. They are on this planet to live "wild" intended lives and not to be entertainers, research subjects-like any other non-human animal, and as pets.             

Take a step forward with fellow musicians, fans and friends. Get educated and help spread the message to educate others. The more people learn about our closest living relatives the more our and their lives improve.
